Though each homestay program differs from the next - depending on geography, time of year and the particular interests of each group - most programs include the following basic features:

á A homestay component where students and their families are carefully pre-matched by ACC staff for optimum compatiblilty.

á An American English and culture study component, including small daily classes with trained English instructors who are committed to providing exciting language learning experiences. We offer English classes at both local community facilities and University/college/school campuses.

á A field trip component where students explore famous metropolitan sites and local attractions in a series of full-day field trips. The half-day fieldtrips are often extensions of the curiculum, and are involve exchange activities with local people of the community.

Two Week Program á 24 hours of English/Culture classes á Two full-day field trips to famous metropolitan city sites. á Three half-day local excursions

Three Week Program á 36 hours of English/ Culture classes á Three full-day field trips to famous metropolitan city sites. á Six half-day local excursions
